- AI Disclaimer: The AI is smart, but not perfect. Please check its output before using it for critical work.
- Refunds: We offer a 14-day unlimited free trial. If you buy it and donât like it, email us within 7 days for a refund.

Alembic is licensed to You (End-User) by Infinite Stardust Limited (âLicensorâ), a company registered in England at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. for use only under the terms of this Licence Agreement.
By downloading the Licensed Application from https://alembic.tools, and any update thereto, You indicate that You agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Licence Agreement, and that You accept this Licence Agreement.
Alembic, when purchased or downloaded, is licensed to You for use only under the terms of this Licence Agreement. The Licensor reserves all rights not expressly granted to You. Alembic is to be used on devices that operate with macOS operating systems.

1. THE APPLICATION
Alembic (âLicensed Applicationâ) is a piece of software created to process video and image assets using local artificial intelligence â and customised for desktop devices (âDevicesâ). It is used to organise, search, and manage media libraries.
The Licensed Application is not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), etc.), so if your interactions would be subjected to such laws, you may not use this Licensed Application. You may not use the Licensed Application in a way that would violate the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
2. SCOPE OF LICENCE
2.1 Grant of Licence. You are given a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the Licensed Application. One (1) licence key may be activated on up to two (2) Devices that You own or control, provided that both Devices are used primarily by You.
2.2 Perpetual Licence and Updates. Upon purchase, You are granted a perpetual licence to use the version of the Licensed Application current at the time of purchase, and any updates released within one (1) year from the date of purchase (âUpdate Periodâ).
- After the Update Period: When the Update Period expires, You retain the right to use the version of the Licensed Application installed on Your Device indefinitely (perpetual fallback). However, You will not be entitled to download or install strictly new versions released after the expiration date unless You purchase a licence renewal.
2.3 Restrictions. You may not share or make the Licensed Application available to third parties, sell, rent, lend, lease or otherwise redistribute the Licensed Application.
2.4 No Reverse Engineering. You may not reverse engineer, translate, disassemble, integrate, decompile, remove, modify, combine, create derivative works or updates of, adapt, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying AI models of the Licensed Application, or any part thereof (except with Infinite Stardust Limitedâs prior written consent).
2.5 Copies. You may not copy or alter the Licensed Application or portions thereof. You may create and store copies only on devices that You own or control for backup keeping under the terms of this licence. You may not remove any intellectual property notices. If you sell your Devices to a third party, you must remove the Licensed Application from the Devices before doing so.
2.6 Violations. Violations of the obligations mentioned above, as well as the attempt of such infringement, may be subject to prosecution and damages.
2.7 Modifications. Licensor reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of licensing for future versions of the Licensed Application.
3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1 OS Compatibility. Licensor attempts to keep the Licensed Application updated to comply with new operating system versions during Your Update Period. You acknowledge that Licensor is not obligated to update legacy versions of the Licensed Application to support new operating systems or hardware released after Your Update Period has expired.
3.2 Responsibility. You acknowledge that it is Your responsibility to confirm and determine that the end-user device on which You intend to use the Licensed Application satisfies the technical specifications required.
3.3 Changes. Licensor reserves the right to modify the technical specifications as it sees appropriate at any time.
4. MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT
4.1 Support Services. The Licensor is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for this Licensed Application. Support is provided via email at the address listed in the Contact Information. We strive to respond to inquiries based on the status of Your licence:
- Active Update Period: Users with a valid, non-expired Update Period will receive priority support. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Expired Licence & Trial Users: Users with an expired Update Period or those using the Trial version will receive support on a âbest-effortâ basis. Response times are not guaranteed, and support may be limited to critical bug fixes or installation issues.
5. USE OF DATA
5.1 Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that Licensorâs processing of data is subject to Licensorâs Privacy Policy: https://alembic.tools/legal/privacy/.
5.2 No Content Access. The Licensor does not access, view, or store the video or image content You process using the Licensed Application. All content processing occurs locally on Your Device.
5.3 Licence Validation & Telemetry. You acknowledge that the Licensor may:
- Process limited data (such as licence keys and device identifiers) strictly to validate Your licence status.
- Periodically collect anonymous technical data (e.g., crash reports), only if You have explicitly opted-in to share such data. Licensor may use this information to improve its products, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify You.
6. LIABILITY
6.1 Limitation. Licensorâs responsibility in the case of violation of obligations and tort shall be limited to intent and gross negligence. Only in case of a breach of essential contractual duties (cardinal obligations), Licensor shall also be liable in case of slight negligence. In any case, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable, contractually typical damages. The limitation mentioned above does not apply to injuries to life, limb, or health.
6.2 Data Responsibility. Licensor takes no accountability or responsibility for any damages caused due to a breach of duties according to Section 2 of this Licence Agreement. To avoid data loss, You are required to make use of backup functions of the Licensed Application. You are aware that in case of alterations or manipulations of the Licensed Application, You will not have access to the Licensed Application.
6.3 AI Disclaimer. The Licensed Application utilises artificial intelligence models. You acknowledge that AI systems are probabilistic and may produce inaccurate, misleading, or offensive outputs (âHallucinationsâ). You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs generated by the Licensed Application. The Licensor is not liable for any errors or damages resulting from Your reliance on AI-generated content.
6.4 Local Data & Backup. The Licensed Application operates on a Local-First basis. We do not store backups of Your content on our servers. You are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of Your data. The Licensor is not liable for any loss, corruption, or alteration of data that may occur on Your local storage.
7. WARRANTY
7.1 Malware-Free. Licensor warrants that the Licensed Application is free of spyware, trojan horses, viruses, or any other malware at the time of Your download. Licensor warrants that the Licensed Application works as described in the user documentation.
7.2 Exclusions. No warranty is provided for the Licensed Application that is not executable on the device due to unauthorised modification, inappropriate handling, or combination with inappropriate hardware or software, regardless if by Yourself or by third parties.
7.3 Defect Reporting. You are required to inspect the Licensed Application immediately after installing it and notify Infinite Stardust Limited about issues discovered without delay by email provided in Contact Information. The defect report will be taken into consideration and further investigated if it has been emailed within a period of thirty (30) days after discovery.
7.4 Remedies. If we confirm that the Licensed Application is defective, Infinite Stardust Limited reserves a choice to remedy the situation either by means of solving the defect or substitute delivery.
7.5 Refunds. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, or if You are unsatisfied within the refund period, You may notify the Licensor (or its authorised reseller, Lemon Squeezy), and Your Licensed Application purchase price will be refunded to You in accordance with our Refund Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
7.6 Statutory Periods. If the user is an entrepreneur, any claim based on faults expires after a statutory period of limitation amounting to twelve (12) months after the Licensed Application was made available to the user. The statutory periods of limitation given by law apply for users who are consumers.
8. PRODUCT CLAIMS
Infinite Stardust Limited is responsible for addressing any claims of the End-User or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or the End-Userâs possession and/or use of that Licensed Application, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
9. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
You represent and warrant that You are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a âterrorist supportingâ country; and that You are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

The licence is valid until terminated by Infinite Stardust Limited or by You. Your rights under this licence will terminate automatically and without notice from Infinite Stardust Limited if You fail to adhere to any term(s) of this licence. Upon Licence termination, You shall stop all use of the Licensed Application, and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Licensed Application.
12. THIRD-PARTY TERMS
Infinite Stardust Limited represents and warrants that Infinite Stardust Limited will comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Licensed Application.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Infinite Stardust Limited and the End-User acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or the End-Userâs possession and use of that Licensed Application infringes on the third partyâs intellectual property rights, Infinite Stardust Limited will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge or any such intellectual property infringement claims.
14. APPLICABLE LAW
This Licence Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, excluding its conflicts of law rules.
15. MISCELLANEOUS
15.1 If any of the terms of this agreement should be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Invalid terms will be replaced by valid ones formulated in a way that will achieve the primary purpose.
15.2 Collateral agreements, changes and amendments are only valid if laid down in writing. The preceding clause can only be waived in writing.
